What is Dermapen?

Dermapen is the lastest and greatest application for skin tightening, lifting and rejuvenation. Dermapen also addresses issues with acne scars and wound healing in addition to improving wrinkles, fine lines, pore size and stretch marks.  

How does it work?

Dermapen was created to replace the dermal roller.  The Dermapen uses multiple needles that vertically penetrate the treatment area of the skin, which has been previously numbed with a topical agent. Little to no discomfort is felt during this procedure.  The vertical penetration of the needles enhances rejuvenation results and is far safer than other methods due to less epidermal damage.

What is the suggested procedure for Dermapen?

Effective in increasing the absorbtion of products such as hyluranic acid and vitamin C, the dermapen also is successful in breaking down tough scar tissue which is found in acne scaring, stretch marks etc.  Four to six treatments are suggested for best results.  Treatments are generally spaced three to four weeks apart with little downtime and great results. The Dermapen's effectiveness has been compared to ablative treatments such as Fraxel, IPL, Laser Resurfacing etc.
